Congratulations to Briceland VFD members Lela Benson, Landon Totten and Tabitha Telezinski, as well as to all the recent graduates of the 2026 Southern Humboldt Regional Fire Academy! This is an arduous, 2-month long course covering structure firefighting and medical rescue requiring 170 hours of study, hands-on training and hard work. Thank you to all the dedicated trainees and experienced instructors who gave their time to help improve our region’s technical expertise in emergency response.
